What to do in autumn?

“Finché ci sarà l’autunno, non avrò mani, tele e colori per dipingere la bellezza che vedo.” Vincent Van Gogh

Autumn is the most colourful season of the year. Here are some ideas for experiencing it to the full:

Participate in the Autumn Festival in San Vito di Cadore: the Autumn Festival held in San Vito has become almost a tradition. Children’s make-up, pumpkin carving, baby dance, food truck, chestnuts and much more!

Photographing autumn: choose a place with lots of colourful trees such as the Roccolo Park in Pieve di Cadore and the Senes area in San Vito and shoot!

Mushroom picking: The season has finally arrived for picking the fresh mushrooms that our forest offers us. Between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the tables are filled with them: porcini, cappelloni, chiodini. Usually in the autumn, a walk in the woods is organised with mycologists from Belluno with mushroom picking and an explanation of the species. An interesting event to discover many new species of mushrooms. Find out if it will be organised again this year!
If, on the other hand, you enjoy picking mushrooms on your own, click here to find out how to obtain a permit.

Adventure Park in Caralte: a magnificent park where you can enjoy the last days with lots of fun. Find out more.
