Cross Country Skiing

Follow the track on a snowy road through the trees, hear the sound of your breath, see the magnificent picture painted by nature. Cross-country skiing is a fun, but above all healthy sport. Like all outdoor activities, it allows you to clear your mind and replenish your energy, the energy that nature gives you.

In the Cadore Dolomiti area, you can practice cross-country skiing at the Cibiana Pass, above the village of Cibiana di Cadore, between Cadore and Val di Zoldo, at an altitude of 1535 metres. The tracks develop around the pass and are considered among the most suggestive in the Belluno area. Pista Deona consists of several loops of different lengths, respectively 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 and 7.5 km, all of medium difficulty. The slope is not particularly suitable for those who want to learn this discipline, as all the loops are very technical.

Rules to follow on the track:

– it is obligatory to have a daily ticket (€5.00) or a season ticket that can be purchased at Baita Deona or Rifugio Remauro (€50.00)

– it is forbidden to walk on the slope and use snowshoes/bob/snowshoes on the slope (there are alternative routes marked for these activities).
