Starting from the Totem which lies in the Municipal Park of San Vito di Cadore, 1011 meters above sea level, we head toward Cortina d’Ampezzo
on the bike track N.1, which runs mostly along the road S.S. N.51. After about 3 km, just before crossing a forest track, the signs lead us to the Boite torrent, down a steep slope in the wood, also used for Nordic Walking.

We reach the Boite torrent exactly in front of a footbridge and another forest track, which is a cross-country track in winter. Turning left,we reach “la Graes” area, where we keep on the right toward the “ponte del moro” bridge, on a paved road leaving the playground on the left: Now we face a 2 km climb following the signs to “Sennes”, but paying attention on turning left at the first hairpin bend.

Finally at the top, we can enjoy the landscape and have a marvellous panoramic view of “San Vito di Cadore” village and its mountains. When the forest track turns into an asphalt road, we keep on uphill (10%) for other 2,5 km towards “Senes”, reaching the “Rifugio Larin” first and soon after the “Rifugio Alpe di Senes” at 1225mt. At the “Alpino” monument, we keep left following the directions for the “Toulà de la Regoiettes”. It’s a long, difficult and quite technical stretch. From the “Toulà” ,1547m. , we bike till the end of the dirt road where we turn left, on the CAI path, and down a steep and challenging descent 1 km long.

The final part of the track is much easier and faster. Through “Tiera” site we get to the “Villanova di Borca” village, along beaten tracks.
Straight on past the village, we reach the “Boite” torrent again, and crossing the old bridge on the left, we get to the road S.S. N.51 which has to be crossed.
So we arrive at the bike track behind the San Vito and Borca ski school rental, and heading northwards for 3 km, we finally reach the centre of San Vito.
