What to do in spring
” Beauty is a form of Genius – is higher, indeed, than Genius, as it needs no explanation. It is one of the great facts of the world, like sunlight, or springtime, or the reflection in the dark waters of that silver shell we call the moon. Oscar Wild

Spring is the season of awakening and now there are more opportunities to spend a day outdoors. Here, then, are some tips:
– A barbecue at Lake Mosigo: At Lake Mosigo, the green lung of our village, there are two barbecues with tables. Next to it is a beautiful playground and a lawn with football goals for your children to play in peace. A few metres away is the lake with a kiosk and refreshment point. It is also possible to take a short walk around the lake (approx. 10 min). For those who want to continue having fun, a miniature golf course with 18 holes is open from July to September, as well as inflatables, table tennis tables, trampolines and tennis courts.
– Walk through the meadows: do you know crocus? They are the flowers that sprout just after the snow melts and colour the meadows pink and white. Strolling through the large meadows of the Cadore region, you are sure to spot some of them.
– Visit the open-air exhibition in Pozzale di Cadore: this is a true open-air exhibition, which now has 101 large images, to which others will be added in the future. It is a permanent exhibition, so the photographs will remain available to anyone who comes to Pozzale and can be viewed 365 days a year, all hours of the day. The photos tell of the first experiences with skis, the hard season of haymaking, the techniques for recovering the precious resource of logs, but there are also the first Lombardy mountain guides, wedding processions, carnivals, chestnut drying, and mountain pastures.
