Cadore in the heart of the Dolomites, a Unesco World Natural Heritage site. As much as 70 per cent of the Dolomites lie within the borders of the Province of Belluno. In particular, Cadore is affected by two of the most famous and spectacular systems: system N. 1 Pelmo-Mondeval-Croda da Lago dominated by the Pelmo massif, one of the most beautiful and celebrated in the Dolomites. System No. 5 of the Northern Dolomites includes Mount Antelao, which dominates the entire valley with its 3264 metres in height and is the second highest peak in the Dolomites after Marmolada, and for this reason is also called the King of the Dolomites, and the Sorapiss group, one of the most important mountain groups in the Dolomites with the Croda Marcora and the Marmarole group.
