The result of the renovation of a pre-existing structure, thanks to the harmony of its architectural lines, it fits well into its natural surroundings. Equipped with a large panoramic hall and eight rooms, its position is truly strategic, at the centre of a network of paths and roads connecting Val Boite and Val di Zoldo, the refuges at the foot of Mount Pelmo and those of Monte Rite and Passo Cibiana. A support point on the Anello Zoldano (Zoldano Ring) and on the Alta Via delle Dolomiti no. 3 and of mountain bike routes, in the winter season it is a destination for snowshoe excursions
From Vodo di Cadore go down towards the centre, follow Via Ramo and reach the primary school building. Descend to the left and leave your car at the convenient car park of the “Palada” sports field. Then reach the bridge over the Boite stream, 828 metres above sea level. At the second crossroads, go up to the left, taking the semi-asphalted road called “Ciandolada” towards Zoppè. From there, continue to Rif. Talamini 1,582 metres above sea level with the s.478 and then the s.456.
