Directly on the ‘La Lunga Via delle Dolomiti’ cycle path from Calalzo to Cortina, stands the former San Vito railway station. In the past it was the train station, but now it is a museum, where a working model of the ‘Trenino Azzurro delle Dolomiti‘ (the ‘Blue Train of the Dolomites’) is housed, together with numerous historical photographs and fossils. You can see the little train in operation by inserting a coin. You will see it pass under bridges and through tunnels. Outside the museum, on the other hand, a didactic garden has been set up with the crops of the past, so that both adults and children can learn about the plants that were once sown in the area.
