All the way to the summit of Monte Zucco is by road and therefore also accessible to wheelchairs, which have to descend by the same route as the ascent. The panorama is majestic. It ranges from the Spalti di Toro to Pelmo and Antelao to the Marmarole chain.
Start at the Ice Stadium in Tai and follow the signs for Monte Zucco, 1196 metres above sea level. The road is partly asphalted and partly unpaved up to the summit. Near the Fontana del Sasso there are the remains of the Col Vaccher fort and a military village. At the summit of Monte Zucco, extra care is required as one faces the precipices of the south and west slopes of Monte Zucco.
