What to do in summer

“Quando guardo le montagne ho i sentimenti delle montagne dentro di me: li sento come Beethoven che sentiva i suoni nella testa quando era sordo e compose la Nona sinfonia. Le rocce, le pareti e le scalate sono un’opera d’arte.” Reinhold Messner

Here are some great ideas for your summer activities:

Participate in one of our events: Cadore offers a series of events that have become important such as Dolomiti Blues&Soul, Echi della Natura, the Handicrafts Market, “Viaggio nel Passato” and many others. To discover them all click here.

Admiring the stars: There is nothing more beautiful in the mountains than lying with a blanket on the soft meadow and admiring the stars far from the light pollution of the city.

The Lunga Via delle Dolomiti: Many sports can be practised in our area, but an experience not to be missed is to ride two wheels along the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti, famous for being the train route from Calalzo to Cortina. Along the route you can still admire the old stations, bridges and tunnels. Click here to find out more.
